In a perfect world (fiction)

'Where do you want to go to lunch', she asked.' I don't know, you got anything in mind?' She tossed a menu at him and said 'room service'.

They pulled up to the hotel and she thought her heart was going to beat out of her chest; not sure if she made a mistake or if he was having second thoughts about her. She looked over at him and his smile said it all. They checked in, got the key and headed up to their floor.

She felt like she was fumbling with the door, but no sooner than she had it open, he had pushed her inside and slammed her against the back of it. His dominance was a surprise and she felt dizzy from the rush of adrenaline it gave her.
